Yeah, this part irritated me as well. “Look at me showing how inclusive and open-minded I am by using language to define you even though you yourself do not claim this term and it actually makes you uncomfortable.”

This is exactly what happened. AND THEY KEPT BRINGING IT UP. 

I’m so proud of him for rising above what that word makes him feel though.
